Material Handling
Material Handling service includes unloading of shipment(s) and delivery to
booth location; removal of empty containers from booth to storage
area; returning of empty containers from storage to booth
location; and reloading of shipment(s) from booth to carrier.
These services are optional. A limited number of flatbed dollies
will be available for Exhibitor use on a “first-come, first-serve”
basis. Pump trucks, J-bars, and forklifts are only available by
booking full service with GES Canada.
Exhibitors are responsible for the shipment, delivery and unloading of their
equipment at show site. To assist in this regard, Material Handling
services are available from GES Canada Exposition Services.
Forklifts, labourers, pump trucks etc will be available at a special
flat rate based upon the size of your exhibit area: $1.78 per square foot for
exhibits up to 100 square feet, $2.30 per square foot for exhibits between 101 and 500 square feet and
$2.87 per square foot for
exhibits over 500 square feet.
Aisles must be free of all materials by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday for carpet
installation. Please have your empty crates/containers labeled and
ready for storage as soon as possible - no later than Tuesday at
4:00 p.m.
